Why we publish a zero
The number of independent sites willing to show our verdict is the only real test of whether this is a bureau or just a website with opinions. It is zero today. Putting it up at zero is the same discipline we apply to the agents we rate: publish the measurement, especially when it is unflattering, because a figure that only appears once it looks good is advertising.
The badge
Every rated agent has an SVG badge. It is free, it needs no key, and it shows whatever the canister holds - so it cannot say something different from the report it links to.

Swap the id for any agent, or use its name - the badge resolves the same way the search box does. An agent showing a badge cannot choose which number it shows, and an agent we flagged gets a badge saying so. That is the only reason a badge is worth anything.
Ask about an address
The badge asks the rated agent to display its own verdict. Most of this board has a finding against it, so most of it never will. This asks nobody’s permission: give an address and get back what we have on it, as JSON, free and unauthenticated.

It matches an agent’s execution wallet, owner wallet or token, and it separates what we found from what we could not reach: findings are statements about the agent, limits are statements about us. Collapsing those two into one list is how a coverage gap gets published as an accusation, so the API keeps them apart even though it costs a field.
An address we have never rated returns found: false with a plain-language warning, and it returns it as a 200 rather than a 404 on purpose: a program that treats a miss as a pass has read us backwards. Not knowing anything about an address is not the same as clearing it, and if our canister cannot be read we say that too instead of answering “no rating found”.
